This fox was a huge success and the kids all did great , The step by step drawing references are really easy to follow in oil pastels to create a fox in the correct proportions and fill up the picture plane. The background is fun as the kids explore all different types of thick and thin lines then paint over them with a black and purple wash. The fox really does look fabulous on the dark background and the kids were really proud as they saw variety, proportion and contrast working together as principles of design, The fox info is very interesting and there are fun fox facts to think about. The Bible is really great because we learn about how Jesus brings the kingdom of heaven to earth and how His focus is on that and not the materialistic things of the earth.
