This lesson is one of my favorite lessons and it is fun for 2nd grade up to adults. The Bible component is all about Mary as a humble girl that has great faith. It's about how special she was and still is not because of how smart, wealthy or beautiful she is, but because of how she trusted God. There is also info about how Jewish women in the time of our Savior's birth lived. The lesson has steps to creating this beautiful work of art and it  will be frame worthy, or you can create this on a gesso board so you and or your child can be proud to display it for years and years. You will be using watercolors and gold tempera along with flesh colored tempera and a gold paint pen. It will also make a timeless gift!
