Valley of the Dry Bones

This lesson is a great lesson because the kids get to practice drawing from observation of a skeleton photo. It is difficult to draw a skeleton, especially for kids. The lesson focuses on helping the kids be successful..We use chalk to sketch out the proportions first, then we go over it with oil pastel in whilte and add value as an element of art in purple. We use baby oil on the construction paper between the parts of the oil pastel on the skeleton which gives this a really neat look. This will be a challenging and rewarding lesson for your kids to make. They will learn how the valley of the dry bones was given by God to Ezekial as a promise that God was going to restore Israel.
